May is AAPI Month!

May is Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month in celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States. Asian/Pacific entails the entirety of the Asian Continent and the Pacific Islands of Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia. The month long celebration was designated by Congress in 1992 to be recognized annually in the United States.

Here at Old Town Books we are celebrating by recognizing some of our favorite AAPI authors and their works! We have created a audiobook playlist on our store dashboard on Libro.FM, an audiobook platform that supports your favorite local bookstore. If you love audiobooks, make sure to check it out.

If you stop by the store, feel free to browse our AAPI Month Display in our window! We also have our selection up on website for your browsing pleasure.
