The Emerging Writers Festival
August 21st - 23rd, 2020

The Emerging Writers Festival in Alexandria, Virginia, is a three day celebration of all things literary! Join us for free and low-cost literary arts programming all weekend. The aim of the festival is to connect readers to new writers, and emerging writers to new opportunities, skills, and to each other. Join us to kickstart your writing practice, learn about pitching editors and agents, take a craft class, or meet your next favorite author.

Not a writer? Never fear! The weekend also features events for readers and book lovers, like free public author talks and a book fair. Just choose your ticket type then mix and match panels, classes, and readings for your best bookish weekend. Tickets for our 2020 festival will go live June 1st.
